The Irvine’s surprisingly cushy insole is made from the same foam we use in our Rabbit Foam® outsoles, only this time, it’s right next to your foot. Just underneath the removable footbed is another layer of foam, with a higher density. Together, they give you 7 mm of softness + support. Step in, and say aaaaahhhh.

Full-abrasion rubber outsole
Take a look at the bottom of this shoe, and you’ll see grippy, full-abrasion rubber from heel to toe. Walk in it, and you’ll feel the rebound. You’ll also feel how lightweight it is—seriously, how did we do that? We’ll worry about that. You worry about… nothing.
I love all my Kiziks, but this one does fit slightly different. It's a little narrower in the heel than the others, but it's still super comfortable and I love them as much as my other Kiziks. This is also a slightly smaller base, so I prefer to wear these with pants versus a dress or shorts.
Absolutely love these. I'm a first time mom and these have become the only shoes I wear because they are so easy to pop on and off. I was also thrilled that the insoles are removable because I can put my orthotics in. And they're so cute!

Less than two months after purchasing, the left shoe started to get holes forming in the fabric at the heel. Maybe it's a design flaw, but considering their whole thing is hands free, maybe they should have invested in better materials to support this function. I own Vans, Converse, even Bob's that lasted significantly longer than this (and cost half the price). I contacted customer service and they said this falls under normal wear and tear and they offered me a 10% off coupon code.
Love the idea, but jeez I don't even walk that much. I barely 'broke in' the shoes before they started breaking down on me. I was really hoping it was a defect with the shoes I received, but according to customer service it's not. Photos included to show the holes forming at the heel and the near pristine look of the sole and rest of the shoe (showing there's no excessive wear).
The fit is a bit narrow, I'm assuming because of how they're designed (stretchy fabric that kinda hugs your foot and connects to the tongue to keep it in place), I have narrow feet so this was a little alarming. It took a few days to break them in so they didn't feel too tight. The length is spot on though, I usually wear a 7.5 in other brands that have a similar style to Irvine (Vans, Etnies, etc.) and that's what I ordered here. They're very comfortable to walk in and stand in, nice cushion in the insoles, I'm just super bummed these probably won't last another two months before the heel is completely worn out (if previous shoe wearing patterns is any indication of the timeline). I expect to replace shoes on a yearly basis, not 3x a year or more.
